Please check back with us to see if Pastor answered your question online!!
Q: Can you tell my in the Bible where I can find that a woman can preach and pastor?
Shemyia
A: There really is no scripture in the Bible that says one must be male to preach His word. For that matter there is no scripture that says one must be a male to pastor. The Bible tells us in Galatians 3:28, that in Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female. In Christ we are all one.
Q: What is the scripture that states that Jesus descended into Hades after dying and before the resurrection? I have found various scriptures that suggest that He might have gone, but none stating "Jesus went to Hades."
Scherrie
A: The actual place is referred to as Sheol or the place of the dead. The scripture that is brought to mind is found in Ephesians 4:8,9. The words "lower parts" refer to Sheol, the Greek word is "Hades".
Q: Why i can't let my past go and continue to do things that do not please god, why do christians now and days point at you and condemn you when you fall but dont help you get up? im confuse.
Maria
A: I cannot tell you why you can't let your past go, but I can tell you that you have the scriptural right to do this. The bible says to forget those things that are behind you. (your past) and press toward the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus.
Why not focus a little less on your past and much more on who Jesus is and what he has done for you. Begin to thank Him and praise Him for His goodness and unlimited mercy.
Q: i enjoy listening to newage music and burning incense, is there something sinful, or disrespecting to God while doing this?
Terry
A: The only problem with any kind of music or associated practices comes with what a person meditates upon. If you wish to listen to soft music and burn incense while meditating on the word of God, one could gain great strength in the Lord. The Bible tells us that a blessed individual meditates on God's Word day and night. Q: This is in reference to one of the postings I saw on the website. Jesus said, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. My question is in order to completely believe in the Lord is't it very important that you are baptized? Or that you will eventually need to get baptized because Jesus specifically said too. This is just my question, I may have miss understood you. Latoya A: We believe it is the command of Jesus to be baptized. I don't believe it is imperative to salvation. The Word of God said to "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." It did not mention water baptism.
The act of water baptism is surly a strength to the soul. It is an act of testifying openly of what God has done inwardly. Q: Pastor, please shine some light on this scripture for me...John 3:5...Jesus answered, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. Is this passage stating that you cannot enter heaven unless you are baptized of water, or what is it Jesus meant? Jonathan A: This scripture has nothing to do with water baptism. As you know when you are in your mother's womb, you are surrounded by water. When a child is about to be born, the mother's water will break.
When it speaks of being born of water, Jesus refers to human beings. Therefore, born of water meaning human, and born of the spirit meaning born again, is the prerequisite to entering into the kingdom of Heaven.
This verse lets us know that only flesh and blood humans that have believed on Christ can sing the song of the redeemed.
